Swing Care is pleased to announce it is now in-network with Priority Health, expanding access to comprehensive, evidence-based care for fibromyalgia and other chronic primary pain conditions to 1.3 million members across Michigan.
This partnership adds to Swing Care’s growing network of insurance coverage in Michigan, which includes Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and others, removing barriers that keep fibromyalgia patients from getting multimodal specialty care.
What This Means for Priority Health Members
Priority Health members living with fibromyalgia can now access Swing Care’s full suite of services at in-network benefit levels, in some cases with as little as $0 share of cost. Through Swing Care, patients can pursue comprehensive treatment for chronic pain conditions like fibromyalgia through their existing coverage.
Why Coverage for Fibromyalgia Care Matters
Fibromyalgia is a condition that has long been underserved by traditional care. Patients are often seen by multiple specialists without a coordinating care team behind them; many go years without a treatment approach that addresses the full picture of their symptoms.
Swing Care was built specifically to address this gap in the healthcare system. The care pathway combines:
- Fibromyalgia-specific medication management
- Behavioral therapy including Stanza, the only FDA-cleared digital therapy for fibromyalgia
- Virtual physical therapy, personalized to each patient
- Sleep support and lifestyle guidance
- Ongoing support that evolves alongside each patient’s progress
Swing’s virtual care options also make it accessible to patients across Michigan, regardless of their proximity to specialty providers.
How to Check If You Qualify
1. Visit Swing Care to take the assessment and learn more about care and coverage.
2. Schedule a free informational call with our care team. We’ll walk you through how your benefits apply, confirm any estimated share of cost, and help you get started.
3. Out-of-network? If your particular plan or region doesn’t yet include Swing Care as in-network, please let us know. We continuously advocate with payors and are working to expand coverage further.
A Note from Our Medical Director
“Fibromyalgia patients have often been left to navigate a fragmented system on their own, seeing multiple providers without a clear plan,” said Dr. Andrea Chadwick, Swing Care’s Medical Director. “Our partnership with Priority Health means more patients in Michigan can access the kind of care that research shows actually moves the needle.”
